Epson FA23012 Printhead Description

1. High-speed printing:
The Epson FA23012 print head for the Epson SureColor P10000 and Epson SureColor P20000 printers integrates 10 printing chips in a staggered arrangement. The width of the nozzle array of the printhead is 2.64 times that of the previous model, reaching 2.64 inches. The number of nozzles is 2.4 times that of the previous model, with 800 nozzles per color. The entire quantity of the printhead reaches 8000.

It is precisely because of the large print head that the substrate supply step length is increased after each movement of the printhead scans the substrate surface, which directly increases the printing speed. Combined with the improvement in data processing capabilities of the printer hardware, the comprehensive printing capacity is 3.9 times that of the previous generation model.

2. Improved droplet shape:
The nozzles are processed by advanced MEMS*1 manufacturing technology. Each nozzle is precisely circular with a diameter of only 20 microns, ensuring precise circular ink droplets ejected each time, providing a technical guarantee for high-quality output.

3. Improved droplet positioning accuracy:
The print head structure is designed to prevent crystal vibration from affecting adjacent nozzles or nozzle rows, reducing interference during ink droplet ejection and ensuring ink droplet positioning accuracy.
