The Roland 1000012407 PLATE, CLAMP MEDIA R2 is the original right-side media clamp plate for the XF-640, EJ-640 and XT-640 printer series. Mounted on the media clamp rail, it presses the leading edge of the roll to keep media perfectly flat and square – the foundation of accurate printing and non-skew cutting. A bent or worn clamp plate lets the media lift or drift, causing edge banding and misaligned cut lines.
