The Epson 1834250 Pump Cap Assy (part number 1738414, replacing 1574104) is the original pump cap assembly for the Epson SureColor S30680 solvent printer. It seals against the printhead during capping cycles, keeping the nozzles moist and protected when the printer is idle – the first line of defence against nozzle dry-out and ink clogging.
A worn or cracked pump cap loses vacuum and lets air reach the nozzles, causing missing nozzles, deflection and failed cleaning cycles. Replacing it restores reliable capping and stable print quality.
