During contour cutting, it presses and holds the media flat so the blade can follow the printed registration marks accurately. A worn pad causes misaligned cut lines, lifted media edges and damaged profiles – replace it as part of routine cutting maintenance.
This is a genuine Roland DG part, Made in Japan. Part number 1000009646 replaces the earlier 1000009876.
