The Epson XP600, released around 2018, is a 6-channel printhead. It is a disassembled printhead of an Epson F1080. It is designed for water-based ink, but everyone uses it to print eco-solvent ink, UV ink, and thermal transfer ink. The life of the printhead is about 3-6 months, the longest up to 1.5 years. The color saturation of the XP600 will be worse than that of the DX5 and i3200. But with its very low price and moderate stability, it is widely accepted by the market. It is mainly used for small eco-solvent ink printers, roll UV printers with a width of 1.6-1.8, and flatbed UV printers with a size of 6040 or 9060 due to the low XP600 printhead price and perfect printing effect.

Designed with six ink channels—CMYK, light cyan (LC), and light magenta (LM)—the Epson XP600 printhead features 180 nozzles per CMYK color and 360 nozzles each for LC and LM, totaling 1,080 nozzles. This printhead is capable of producing ink droplets as small as 3.5 picoliters. In comparison to DX5 and DX7 printheads, which contain 1,440 nozzles, the XP600 has 360 fewer nozzles.
