Originally designed for water-based ink, it has become popular for use with eco-solvent, UV, and thermal transfer inks. The XP600 printhead has a lifespan of about 3-6 months, with some lasting up to 1.5 years. While its color saturation is lower compared to the DX5 and i3200 printheads, its affordability and moderate stability have made it widely accepted in the market. It is commonly used in small eco-solvent ink printers, roll-to-roll UV printers with widths of 1.6-1.8 meters, and flatbed UV printers sized 6040 or 9060 due to its cost-effectiveness and excellent printing performance.
